I am David and I am a Spiritual Researcher. I guess you could say I'm on the soul side of our Souls@work movement. That's me sitting in my "contemplation space" atop the rocks in the above photograph. While I visit this place often (it's known as Raven's Rock) I never sit as pictured. I did this to create an illusion and convince you that I meet today's stereotype of a person connected to spirit'. Which, of course, is total BS as we are ALL connected to spirit. Yes, even you!
I do have degrees in Metaphysics and Metaphysical Science (that's not BS) and I am well on my way to a Doctorate of Divinity. I'm not new age, religious, nor am I "woke". Honestly, I'm not sure what any of that means to the world of soul and spirit other than, again, creating a comforting illusion for you (and me).
I met Jardena sometime ago when we both worked together in a large corporation that truly made us check our souls at the door ... like a coat check at the gates of the underworld. Confiding in misery, and seeing everyone around us working "lifelessly", we felt there had to be a better way for both of us, for all of us. A way which allowed us to bring our spirit, our passions, our souls into the workplace and make our work environment come alive!
And that's the mission. Souls@work was created to help places of business recognize and utilize the human soul to contribute to a healthy and more effective work place. Whether it's brand new to your work environment or you're well on your way and just need a soul litmus test, Souls@work can help.
My area of focus inside our movement is down deep at the the individual soul level, while others are focused on the higher level of our collective souls. Both are equally important and in reality there is no demarcation between the individual and the collective, they are one.
Creating this separation is done for practical purposes. It'd be a fruitless exercise to assign a generic level of importance to either. Imagine trying to determine which feature is more important to the proper functioning of a vehicle, the gasoline or the wheels? A Buridan's ass situation for sure!
At the individual level, a common roadblock to experiencing your genuine soul is learning to unlearn. It's a tremendous inner hurdle. An untangling of the knot within the vast number of imprinted thoughts, feelings, and beliefs pertaining to your current understanding of the soul itself.
I hear the same statement over and over, "I am just not that spiritual or I wouldn't even know where to start". In our current paradigm where 'what you believe is your reality', those feelings aren't wrong for you.
The truth is you are spiritual, you just might be tuned into the wrong frequency. Or maybe there's to much noise? The catch is, once you 'dial yourself in', the soul vision remains fuzzy. It's a bit like looking through a microscope and changing the power without recalibrating the focus, things still look blurry.
But don't worry, if you truly want to experience your soul, you will. Intention is key. There is a wealth of clues scattered throughout the Cosmos. It's never an issue where to start but when to start. Start NOW! Right before you fall asleep tonight say "goodnight soul, I'll hear you in the morning". Do that enough times and you'll begin to see the clues ... like seeing Darth Vader's helmet in Michelangelo's The Last Judgement painting in the Sistine Chapel. WHAT to do with that clue?
